OPHORA WATER TECHNOLOGIES
In 2010, water expert Ken Guoin and entrepreneur Christen Brown founded OPHORA Water Technologies in Montecito. Recognizing that municipal and bottled waters had become degraded, devitalized, and even denatured, they dedicated themselves to restoring source water back to its crystalline, structured, functional, and alkaline state.
Using 14 levels of filtration to remove pharmaceuticals, micro-plastics, chlorine, carcinogens, pesticides, and heavy metals, their patented process adds high levels (40 ppm) of bound and stable molecular oxygen to OPHORA bottled water and their Ultra Whole Home System.
OPHORA manufactures whole home water purification and enhancement systems, allowing customers to experience the benefits of healthy water throughout their entire home with OPHORA’S state-of-the-art UF whole home filtration series. Each system is designed to meet the home’s specific water demand with considerably less wastewater than most traditional carbon-based whole-home systems. OPHORA systems ensure robust whole-home water filtration by implementing UF (ultra-filtration) technology to remove harmful contaminants commonly found in municipal source water including (but not limited to) chlorine, ammonia, heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, cysts, and microplastics. In addition, OPHORA’s Bio-Fresh Pool and Spa systems provide organic, 100% chlorine-free, oxygen-rich water for a restorative swimming and soaking experience.
The company’s most popular system is the Bio-Quantum Water Station, which has the added benefit of ozone purification and increased oxygen levels. It produces hot and chilled, nano-pure, mineral-rich, pH-balanced, structured, oxygenated water on tap. This system is an ideal fit for a home, office, gym, or spa, eliminating the environmental burden of single-use plastic bottles.
